Disclaimers
The following limitations apply to all Mortar compatibility scores, release decisions, and governance signals.
1. Not a Guarantee of Availability
Mortar calculates compatibility scores based on the artifacts (e.g., OpenAPI specs) and telemetry provided by your integration. A high compatibility score (e.g., 100/100) does not guarantee that a release will be free of runtime errors, network failures, or other availability incidents. Mortar is an authority layer for *contract drift*, not a replacement for comprehensive integration testing.
2. Deterministic vs. Probabilistic
While Mortar utilizes deterministic algorithms for schema comparison, any "AI Narrative" or "Mitigation Suggestions" provided via our LLM integration are probabilistic in nature. Users should verify all suggested code changes or architectural mitigations before implementation.
3. Third-Party Integrations
Mortar integrates with third-party tools such as GitHub, Stripe, and Slack. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of these third-party platforms. Any failures in these systems that result in delayed release gates are outside of Mortar's direct control.
4. "As Is" and "As Available"
THE MORTAR PLATFORM AND CLI ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. MORTAR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES AND YOUR USE THEREOF.
5. Local Regulatory Compliance
It is the user's responsibility to ensure that their use of Mortar's release gates and data processing model complies with their local regional regulations and industry-specific requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS).
